- Initial consultation (60 min): $240 

- Extended review consultation (45 min): $180 

- Review consultation (30 min): $120 

 

Medicare Rebates

Your GP can assess your eligibility for an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) or Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP). These Medicare plans allow for a rebate (e.g., reduced out-of-pocket costs) for visits to an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).  

With an EDP, clients are eligible to access 20 subsidised dietetic sessions for 12 months from the start date of the plan, and a CDMP allows a client to access up to 5 subsidised dietetic sessions in a calendar year.

 

As of 20 July 2023, the Medicare Rebate is $58.00. 

 

Private Health Insurance

Most private health funds cover visits to APDs in private practice. 

 

I encourage you to contact your insurer to see what's covered by your health insurance policy.

 

Payment Policy 

Fees for consultations are to be paid on the day of appointment.

 

Consults can be paid by direct debit, credit card or eftpos. 

 

Payment is to be made in full before a claim is made to Medicare for clients who have an Eating Disorder plan (EDP) or Chronic Disease Management plan (CDMP). 

 

Please note that I do not bulk bill for services and there is a gap payment.

Cancellation Policy 

Sometimes cancellations cannot be avoided, however, late notice means that the appointment can not be offered to another person. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee that is 100% of the appointment cost. 

 

If you provide more than 24 hours notice there is no fee charged if you cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent (via email), however, it is encouraged that all clients keep a record of their scheduled appointments as cancellation fees still apply even if you do not receive a reminder.
